There are purposes of this Chty.
1 } to help children and young people with educat￿n81 tralning. by providlng pre-school
care for children aged lo fve years OSJ for up to nine sessions per week. Each
session last5 for three hours 9aTr12pm & 12pm-3pm.
2) to run a safe and fun out of school club for Long Itchington Primary School. 10
Sessions per week. AM sessions = 1hr 7.45am - 8.45 am. PM $835ions - 2hr 45mln
3.1 5pm - 6.00pm. We also run ad hoc Holiday Clubs in school holKlays as
¢ompet[tive￿ as POS8ible to help the parents ofthe local communlty.
The charty aims lo enhance the devebpmenl and eduL*in of children by enccwraging
parents lo understsnd and provide for the need oftheir children through communty group8.
In planning the objectives and activrt*s of the Chanty, the Trustees have reviewed the
guidance provided by the Chanty Commissth. The PU￿Se$ of the charity are exclusive
charitable and have been preparod in with Ihe requirement ofthe Charites act
2011 {"the Act.).

Th8 setting is currently running wrth 6 members of the team and ￿ are mainty breaking
even most months.

Expendf(ure for the chanty is closely monitored and for this per￿1 and was at 177k. The
main increase in costs was due to additi'onal training for the team ,outside mandatory
training. This has left the business wrth a-2k Ios5. The business 15 cash posttNe therefor6
we decided to make this loss to invest in the team.

Trustees are appointed at the Annual General Meeting. The minimum numbor of Trustees is

All trustees are encouraged to read Charity Commission and other news￿tter$ and
to attend courses designed to keep them abreast of their dutses and responsibilibes.
Organlsational Structure
The Trustees administer the charity and meet regularfy through-out the year, during
these meetings all charitable matters are discussed including the raising of funds
income structure. ongoing perfomiance and any expenditure. The charity measures
performance against budgeted targets and reports annually at the Annual General
Meeting, where trustee's re5ignabon and appointrnents are made In line with the
necessary role and requirements.
Rlsk Managem•nt
Management has reviewed the major risks to which the Charity is exposed. Ipthere
appropriate systems or procedures have been established to mitigate the risks the
Chanty faces. Long Itchington Pre-school and Out of School Club benefits from a
diligent and dedicated team ol Trustees. Costs are closely monitored to ensure the
Charity operates within its means. charity maintains a separate bank account to
cover its r8setves, all of which minimise its exposure to risk. The Charities intemal
policies in place to mitigate risk are listed on the Charib'es website.
Re8erves Policy
The Charities reseprfes policy is to maintain resenrfes at a level adequate to protect
its ongoing wotk from srgnificarrt fluctuations in service income. This policy is
reviewed annually. The Charity aims to hold sufficient reserves to cover three
months running costs plus statutory r8dundancy costs. This value is set aside in

separate bank account which totals 20k. The Chanty reserves are therefore
adequate, and the Trustees ￿nSider that the Charity will conb'nue as a going
con￿rn for the foreseeable future. There are no material uncertaints'es about the
Charities ability to continue.
Plans for Futuro Perlods
It is the Trustees intention that the Chanty will contsnue to provide seNices in line
with objectives and activrties as noted in these financial ststements.
