Four of these events were outdoor<br>free events for the wider community<br>including performing at Lichfield Proms in<br>the Park which attracts an audience of local<br>residents in their thousands and performing<br>at the National Arboretum as part of the<br>Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.<br>We maintained and developed further our<br>relationship with other local music groups<br>and venues this year performing in the<br>Coton Centre, Tamworth and Lichfield<br>Cathedral which gave opportunites to reach<br>wider and larger audiences.<br>In November 2022 we performed at the<br>regional qualifying event for the National<br>Concert Band Festival in Telford gaining a<br>platinum award and an invitation to perform<br>at the national finals in Manchester in 2023.<br>This gave the band members a valuable<br>experience of performing at a very high<br>standard and also led to representing<br>Lichfield on the national stage.|
