I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
harity {Ihe.Trusf} for the year ended 3111212021.
Responsibilities and As the charty trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation
basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirement5 of the Charities Act
2011 (Ihe Acr).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145{5)Ib) of the Act_

The Pilton Green Man CIO
is the umbrella organisation
for three Sub£ommrttees
running the pl￿On Green
Man Day in JU￿. Pilton
Theatre Pr¢)JuCt￿nS
running the Pilion Panto in
February, and a Sub-
Committee running
fundraising for the FrEnds of Manning's Pit. At least one trustee is an
8Cttve Erember of each Sub-committee. An addith)nal trustee with specific
fesponsibilty for Manning's Pit vras appointed in January 2022.
Pitton Theatre Productions was unable to put on a pantomime in February
2021 because of CON￿d-19 reslrictions. Because of the COVID-19
pandemic k)c*down, Pitton Green Man Day in July 2021 was also
can￿lled by the Sub-commtttee.
The three operatfftg gAJb-￿mmittee$ cary out risk assessrn*nts of their
operations and also p￿pare detaI￿d event managemenl pLgns as
appropr%ate. A H&S policy and related procedures We￿ developed in
relation lo the managenEnt of the Manning's Pit land purchased in June
2021. These will be revEwoJ annually.

The Charitab￿ objectives are rTEt by making small grants available to
communty organisations, charities, groups and individuals to cary out
projects whth will beneflt Ihe people of Pillon. The geographical area of
Pitton covers the area approximatety from the ND District Hospital to
PottTrngton and from B Trdrford to Raleigh and Yeo Vale and there is a
sidenl popU￿tIon of around 5,000.

purchased for the community about 18 acres of L8nd. In connection with

successfvlly pwrthsed for the cc¥nmurNty in June.

During 2021. the FrEnds of Manning's Pit Sub-committee raised a
further £29.241 tobvards the Fossibk purchase of Manning's Pit.
Beyond the ff￿nIes raised for the pur(*ase of Manning's Pit, the charity
has received no incx)me during 2021 as there was no Pilton Panto and no
Pirton Green Man Day. The eX￿sS fiJnds from the purrhase of
Manning's Ptt have fom￿1 a £4.146 fund. after expenses, for
managerr£nt of the land and whbth held in the separate Manning's
Prt account for that specrfK use.
