Annual Meeting of ARAUK, Charity Number 1170710 by Zoom meeting

Item 1. We have received a letter of resignation from Dr Fernanda Teixeira. She has now retired from the NHS and has moved to Miami in USA and is unable to support the Charity. WE have written to her thanking her for her help with the Charity in the past and wishing her all success and happiness in the future.
Item 2. We discussed the possibility of setting up a Twitter acco8nt for the Charity. Professor Chu will investigate this further,
Item 3. Finance – Financial Year end 31[st] March 2021. We have only increased our funds slightly over the last year. Covid has made thing very difficult for all charities. Prof Chu has recently started a venture educating health care professionals in the treatment of acne scarring. This will hopefully bring in significant funds.
Item 4. Membership of the charity to date has been unofficial. We plan to launch a drive towards named membership with the possibility of making a membership charge. Prof Chu will further investigate this.
Item 5. Oral Isotretinoin. We have had communication from a number of parties interested in looking at the way this drug is prescribed and its regulation. Hopefully we can gather enormous amounts of information through our proposed Twitter account
The meeting was concluded with a possible date for the next AGM in 12 months time
