This Is an annual report for the years 1st April 2024 to 31, March 2025.
The charity contlnues to have same structure wlth three main trusteos and
four co-opted trustees for 1 year,
The trustees meet 3-4 tlmes each year to discuss governance, flnances,
donations and respond to requests for donation8, In addition there are
adhoc informal meetlng$ with advisory group to discuss requests for
donations. The charity has establlshed a What8App group for BKCF
advisory group for that purpose. The advisory group will be updated in
December 2025

The charity continues to support orphan8 in Jammu and Kashmir India
mainly in collaboration wlth the local charity CHINAR Kashmir. However we
also support other orphans associatlons form time to time and identify
orphan8 individually too and Gontinue to support them.
The Charity continued to provide essential medical equipment'slkits and
financial asslstance for life saving medicines and equipment's for dèsenilng
patients in Jammu and Kashmir who are from poorer background8

The Charity continued to SUPPOrt foodbanks, and distrfbuting food packs to
a number of famili88 In dlffer8nt di8trlcts of Kashmir at least twlce a year
through our volunteers. In addition it also help8 destltute and famllies with
poor Income by provldlng regular three monthly donatlons for their baslc
Ilvlng.
The charity also responds to any emergency modical treatmentsl equipment
at short notice.1.8 one patients needed spinal surgery
AS mentioned in our pr8vious reports, The charity has already established a
free Isubsidised dialysls centre in dlstrict Baramulla (Kudsiya Medical
Canter) where dialysis se8sion8 have taken place free for deserving
patients.
In March 2024 the charfty raised funds for children's cardiothoracic unit In
Kashmir which is planned to run by (VMS) voluntary medical society in
Kashmir , BKCF raised upto £15000 for the heartlung machine. As we
received another requ8st from VMS m8dical society In Kashmir, £5000
wert donated towards the building of the children's GardiaG hospital
The charity appealed for fund raising online in the month of Ramadhan In
MarGh 2025, as we dld not plan a face to face event in 2025. In addition to
appeal for donations via our website and on social medla, from local donors
in UK. The charity does not get funds from any other association or charlty.
As mentloned in Dur previous reports, We declare no flnancial or any other
rtsks during this period. The charity malnly works through liaison with
voluntary associatlons Icharlties in Kashmir, liaison with hospitals,
Institutions, clinicians and Indlvlduals who send us requests for help.
The advlsory body and trustees make the final decision about provlding
8UPPOrt and transfer of funds. Each individual18 asked to fill in a donation
appèal fomi which is reviewed by the advisory committee.
The funds are mostly tran8ferred to In8ts'tutlonsl traders directly however on
occasions when tliere is urgent need funds may be given directly to the
individual or through our volunteers in Kashmir. Due receipt5 linvoices ar6
recelvod for record8.
The Charity does not have major admin 8UPPOrt, all the trustees and
advisory commitlee wok8 on good will. The charity doe8 not spend its
donations on any admln work except for small amount of bank transfer
charge6 or maintenance of website or any prfnting material
The charities website www, bkcf.org.uk is UKKlated although we don't have a
Admin support. It provides information about its actlvity. Currently the
website is under refurbishment and will be upadated

Orphan care: We contlnue to provide support for orphans in
through our remote sponsoring scheme and by 8UPPOrting
orphan care in Jammu and Kashmir by providing ald to
CHINAR Kashmir a charity In Ka8hmir.(£2000 transferred in
year 2023124).In 2024 we transferred about £ 2740v to the
CHINAR charity, After Nov 2025 CHINAR has notified us t
they are not able to take funds from abroad hence we hav6
tran8ferr8d any money for orphan care this year pending
clarification of their ac￿Unt by Govt of India.
As mentioned previously, We did obtain a yearly report on ttr
progress of the orphans, and a number of these orphans a
now adults who are In p08tgraduate education. The tru8tee8
monitor the progress of 0￿hanS every year by obtaining wri.
report from th8 charity. Most of the orphans are registered a
CHI NAR Home although we sponsor some children directly.
The CHINAR sends us a written report as well as video
feedback which is shared wlth our donors at our annual
fundraiser.

BKCF continues to support a free dialysis machine to Kuds
Medical Centre in district Baramulla. The feedback from cen
says hundreds of eplsode8 of dialysis have taken pla￿ at tP
centre over la8t few years. Initially we provided funds for 4
patients per quarter, each costing about a £1000 per year.
From 2021 onwards 8ln¢e Govt. 18 providing subsided
dialysates BKCF does not transfer any more fund8 for it but
provided dialysis machine free of cost costing >£7000. Besli
BKCF also supports the care of patients at another few dial)
centres in Srinagar on request. In 2024125 three separate
dialysis episodes were supported by providing 93x 3 GBP .
In year 202412025, BKCF raised funds online pledged ti
support VMS children's cardiothoracic hospital by providing
them support for building ( £5000) and £15000 for buying ¢
heart lung machine. The £ 5000 was trensferred in early 20;
where as funds for HL machine has been kept in reserve till
Invoi¢e Is received and hospital is functional.

(upto 10 families currently). We provlded about £500 p81

cancer medicatlons, bone marrow transplant, buylng
chemotherapy, spinal stabilisation equipment, infusion

1. Our donors continu6d to support us and we have manged raise
ftjnds by online annual fund raiser during the rnonth of Ramadhan
in MarGh 2025.
2. We continue to liaise with local charities and institutions and
volunteers in Kashmlr in deliv8ring our work
3. In line with our constitution we continue to work for health care
support, poor patients, and education, relieve poverty by provlding
monthly support and via our food banks. We manged to help a
number of cancer patients, transplant patients,and so many poor
students and families needing financial help.
