**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT HEALTH AND TO RELIEVE SICKNESS BY CONTRIBUTING TO A REDUCTION IN THE LIKELIHOOD OF PREMATURE AND UNNECESSARY SUDDEN DEATH RESULTING FROM HEART ATTACK AND OTHER LIFE-THREATENING SITUATIONS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY INCREASING THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE TRAINED IN CARDIO-PULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR) AND TO USE AN AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED), INCREASING THE NUMBER OF PUBLIC ACCESS DEFIBRILLATORS (PADS) WITHIN MALVERN AND SURROUNDING VILLAGES IN THE COUNTY OF WORCESTERSHIRE.

**Activities:** Since our launch in January 2017 we have provided free CPR  and defibrillator training to almost 6,000 people in Malvern including schoolchildren. We have also been supported by a number of local community groups and have installed 35 defibrillators for members of the public to use.
