The club has grown in terms of member numbers from 370 to 417, most notably with an increase of c50% in the Girls football section of the club. The club has an ethos of nurturing and developing both football skills and inter-personal skills, encouraging communication, teamwork and resilience.  The club supports the development of young leaders through referee training and phased introduction into competitive matches. 

## **Financial Review**

Review of the charity’s  Para 1.21 During the year 1/6/21 - 31/5/22 the<br>financial position at the  charity had income of £50,619 and<br>end of the period expenses of £49,342.  This resulted in<br>a surplus for the year of £1,276.<br>The club had provided discounted<br>subscription prices in order to ‘return’<br>some of the unintentional surplus<br>generated during the prior year due<br>to Covid-19. However, due to the<br>increase in members along with gift<br>aid claims made and received, the<br>club once again generated a (small)<br>surplus. This has been reinvested<br>back into the club outside of the<br>period of this report.<br>Statement explaining  Para 1.22 The club hold an appropriate level of<br>the policy for holding  cash reserves to manage fluctuations<br>reserves stating why  in income and expenditure between<br>they are held years which can result from changes<br>in the numbers of registered players<br>through to external factors such as<br>legislation.
