The GREEN and PAVILION

Absolute Grasscare carry out the major works on the green and continue to support and advise the Green’s Committee.

Members continue to take responsibility for cutting, verti-cutting, spiking, watering and applying compost tea.

Astro turf was laid on the 2 remaining banks and new rink numbers were made. Benches were refurbished and concrete bases for them were laid.

The area between the gates was planted with flowers and pots and planters were placed on the patio and the fence opposite.

Once again the council left the hedge uncut until the end of the season.

New lockers, benches and coat hangers were installed in the pavilion and all internal walls were painted. The cooker was removed from the kitchen and replaced with a large fridge. The urinal was also removed and replaced with a toilet.

The Trustees wish to thank members who organised events and those who gave so much of their time to maintain and improve the club’s facilities.
