**Objects:** 1) PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF LOCAL PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE;2) EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT LOCAL GEOGRAPHY, HISTORY, NATURAL HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURE;3) SECURE THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF LOCAL FEATURES OF HISTORIC OR PUBLIC INTEREST.

**Activities:** Monthly meetings on items of local and historical interest. Regular scrutiny of local development plans and planning applications.Supporting local environmental groups.Sponsoring the production and publication of books, brochures and pamphlets.Supporting the activities of Bishop's Waltham Museum Trust.Promoting the well being and prosperity of the town.Conducting research.
