In the year. the chanty has been active in providing grants lo eligible
applicants to attend degree and other courses in the perfomiing arts.
The charity has also provided advice lo potential applicants on possible
routes for them lo follow in their re5￿ctive courses.
The charity is very mindful of the need lo have regard lo the guidance on
public benefft Issued by the Charity Commission when exercising any
powers or duties lo which the gumjance would be relevant.

Al trustees meetings, the trustees reviewed the guidance particulady in
relation lo planning our activrties and in promoting the charity. In that
spirit. the trustees regulady communicate with all suitable drama related
groups wrthin our area of operation lo make them aware of the charities
aims and objectives. The eharTty a150 had a presence al a prestigious
gala event where it was also able lo publicise its activities.

The charity derived Income of £7223 In donations and Interest for the
year. The chanty made grants tolalling £1750. This shows a drop in the
nurn￿r of people applying fof grants and rt is the trustees aim lo redress
this. 11 is the trustees wish to further extend the award of grants.

donations from individuals. In this financial year. our regular donations

charity has been used to provide grants lo support our key objectives. At
the annual general meeting. the Injslees discussed the financial situation
and al Ihis stage resolved lo continue a case by case view of the amount
to be awafded for each application.
