## **Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document:** 

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interest of the social welfare for the recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity, disability financial hardship, social circumstances or the public at large with the objective of improving their condition of life by maintaining and operating the paddling pool. 

## **Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects:** 

The Friends of Penygraig Park opened the paddling pool in August 2018 free of charge to the resident of Penygraig and the wider communities. 

We were unable to open in 2019 due to the low uptake on volunteers so we decided that it would be unsafe to open the paddling pool safely with the number of volunteers we had.
