## **Achievements and Performance**

Seion's Sunday worship services continued throughout 2024 with a faithful number attending. Some special services and meetings aimed at bringing new people in to Seion were also held. We have run a weekly children's meeting on a Tuesday (through to July) and then Monday (from September) throughout 2024. The children also played a part in our annual carol service which was held the Sunday before Christmas with approximately 90 people in attendance. Shortly before Christmas two schools sent around 50 children to Seion for 'Christmas Wrapped Up' (a half day of educational activities put on by Seion's members teaching the children about why Christmas is special for Christians). We have run a number of meals/services for over 60s which have been attended by between 25 and 35 people. Seion's pastor has taken, and the chapel also hosted, a number of funeral services, both for members of our congregation but also for other people from the local community. Our Bible Study is held on Monday's through telephone conferencing. This has made it possible for people who live quite a distance away from the chapel and those who (due to illness or infirmity) aren't able to attend evening meetings to study the Bible with us. As a result the vast majority of Seion's congregation phone in for the Bible studies. Seion's prayer meeting is held on a Thursday in the chapel

## **Financial Review**

Income for the year was £32,111 compared to £27876 for the previous year. Expenditure for the year was £38,159 compared to £33,706 for the previous year. This gave a deficit on the year of (£6,048) compared to (£5,830) for the previous year. The deficit was covered by cash reserves which still have a healthy balance of £39,138. We continue to be grateful to all our church members and others who support the work of the church.
