**Objects:** THE PRINCIPAL OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN THE VILLAGE OF MAERDY IN RHONDDA-CYNON-TAF IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES OF INDEPENDENT BAPTIST CHURCHES AND THE STATEMENT OF FAITH. THE CHARITY MAY ALSO CARRY OUT OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND/OR OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD.

**Activities:** To advance the Christian religion primarily, but not exclusively, in Maerdy and the surrounding area for the benefit of the general public.  This is done through holding worship services on Sundays, and in the week Bible studies, carer/toddler meetings, children's activities, coffee mornings and various other activities. We also support missionaries both in the UK and abroad.
