HOME-START BIRMINGHAM OFFERS PRACTICAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TO FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN, PROVIDING A LIFELINE TO PARENTS AND CHILDREN IN THE BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL AREA.SUPPORT IS FREE, CONFIDENTIAL AND NON-JUDGEMENTAL, AND THE QUALITY OF THIS IS MAINTAINED BY WORKING TO NATIONAL STANDARDS.

Objects: 1.1 The Objects Of The Charity Are:a To Safeguard, Protect And Preserve The Good Health, Both Mental And Physical Of Children And Parents Of Children;b To Prevent Cruelty To Or Maltreatment Of Children;c To Relieve Sickness, Poverty And Need Amongst Children And Parents Of Children;d To Promote The Education Of The Public In Better Standards Of Child Care; Principally But Not Exclusively Within The Area Of Birmingham And Its Environs.1.2 The Promotion Of The Efficiency And Effectiveness Of Home-Start Charities In Birmingham And Its Environs By Providing Support To Administration, Infrastructure And Fundraising Through A Consortium Model And Building A Co-Ordinated Service For Vulnerable Children And Families.
