professionals also gave pro-bono support
food distribution in our food bank including
acting as social welfare advisors supporting
community members and sign posting to
statutory services. They assist, signposting
to statutory services form filling and
translation support where needed
especially for those with disabilities,
refugees and migrants who access the
food bank. Volunteers assist in registering
and packing food parcels for attendees
from donated stock.|

redistribution from a wholesaler of Halal
food products which has enabled us to
service our wider diverse community
members as they offer us periodic
suppliers of Halal products.
We also had a donation of good quality
clothes which were preloved and some
brand new and this was distributed to
those in need who attended the foodbank
We now have a core group of 15 trained
volunteers who offer their time twice a
week to help with food/cloth redistribution,
signposting on rotational basis.

We continue to operate twice a week all year. Some of our volunteers have been supported to obtain , generalist welfare advice training and to develop employability skills to enable them be supported into paid work in other establishments.
