**Activities:** The object of ASEASUK is to develop knowledge within the UK of Southeast Asia (SEA) for the public benefit. Its activities include facilitating cooperation between UK-based scholars, institutions and research programmes in SEA studies and with appropriate counterparts in other countries in order to advance individual and collective knowledge of SEA, and circulating scholarly information on SEA.
