**Objects:** THE PROMOTION OF EDUCATIONAL INTEREST AND ENJOYMENT AMONGST ITS MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC BY THE PUBLIC PERFORMANCE OF OPERAS, MUSICAL STAGE PLAYS AND CHORAL CONCERTS AND OTHER WORKS.TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN DRAMATIC MUSICAL AND OPERATIC ARTS AND TO FURTHER THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC APPRECIATION AND TASTE IN THE SAID WORKS.TO PERFORM DESIGNATED CHARITY CONCERTS THE PROCEEDS OF WHICH MAY BE GIVEN TO LOCAL, NATIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL CHARITIES.

**Activities:** The Society meets to rehearse weekly throughout the year for a performance of a choral work or a mixture of shorter works in the spring, a staged production of a Gilbert and Sullivan opera, or similar, in the autumn and a Christmas concert of carols and other festive music in December.  Performances are given in the local parish church and the secondary school in Kidlington.
