"Church" because we are committed to the edification and encouragement of our fellow brothers and sisters in love. Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document

In seeking to pursue the objectives of the church outlined above, the trustees have sought to undertake activities for the public benefrt with regard to the guidance issued by the charity commission on public benefit. We have sought to encourage the worship of God through our 2 public Sunday services and public Wednesday Bible study each week. We have sought to advance the Christian faith through various events and meetings, for young and old. We had a number of meetings specifically for children and young people. This included regular meetings in term time which involved games, and bible messages. In addition to this we also invited the public to a family fun day, a BBQ, a Bonfire Paty and the ladies to an afternoon tea. We have also sought to support the work of churches in our region, providing: preachers regularly for a number of churches; giving pastoral support to a church in Leigh and Charlesworth. In addition, we have run events for young people from churches in our nation. We have also sought to develop more concrete relationship with confessional Baptist churches in the UK. We have also sought to develop the training of men for pastoral ministry, in conjunction with the IRBS UK. One of our young men has been studying full time, and hopefully in the coming years he will minister in the UK or overseas. This year has seen giving to the advancement of the Christian faith overseas, and the support of Christians in need. We have also enabled members to participate in supporting churches and folk in need throughout the world, such as the House of Ants orphanage in Mozambique, the TASTE charity in Nigeria and churches in Kenya. In addition, one of our trustees has made trips overseas to minister in Nigeria, Zambia and Kenya. Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance Issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit) Additional detai18 of objectives and activities (Optional informatlon) You may choose to include further statements, where relevant, about: policy on grantmaking., policy programme related investment., contribution made by volunteers.
