Ob'ectives and activities
The church is known as Trinity Grace Church. "Trlnlty" because the
chief purpose of this local church is to worship the triune God in Spirit
and in Truth. "Grace" because this church exists to proclaim to all
people the unmerited kindness of God to sinners through the Lord Jesus
Christ. "Church" because we are committed to the edification and
encouragement of our fellow brothers and sisters in love.
Summary of the object8 of the
charity set out in it8
governing document

In seeking to pursue the objectives of the church outlined above, the
trustees have sought to undertake activrties for the public benefit with
regard to the guidance issued by Ihe charity commission on public
benefit.
We have sought to encourage the worship of God through our 2 public
Sunday services and public Wednesday Bible study each week.
We have sought to advanc8 th8 Christian faith through various events
and meetings, for young and old. We had a number of meetings
specifically for children and young people. This included regular meetings
in term time which involved games, and bible messages. We also held an
event surrounding Ramsbottom's 1940's weekend, where the public was
invited to join us. In addition to this we also invited the public to a family
fun day, a BBQ, a Bonfire Paty and an evening meal with a message.
We have also sought to support the work of churches in our region,
providing: preachers regularly for a number of churches; giving pastoral
support to a church in Leigh. and taking on pastoral leadership of a
church in Charlesworth. In addition, we have run events for young people
from churches in our nation. We have also sought to develop more
concrete relationship with confessional Baptist churches in the UK.
We have also sought to develop the training of men for pastoral ministry,
in conjunction with the IRBS UK. One of our young men has been
studying full time. and hopefully in th8 coming y8ars h8 will minister in the
UK or overseas.
This year has seen giving to the advancement of the Christian faith
overseas, and the support of Christians in need. We have also enabled
members to participate in supporting churches and folk in need
throughout the world, such as the House of Ants orphanage in
Mozambique, the TASTE charity in Nlgerla and churches in Kenya. In
addition, one of our trustees has made trips overseas to minister in
Nigeria, Hungary, Poland and Kenya.

activities undertaken for the
public benofit in relation to
these objects (include wlthin

Achievements and performance

Section D
Achievements and performance
Through the WO￿ of the church, the Christian faith has been made known
to a number of people. Children have benefrted from the social aspect of
their meetings and have been helped to see the truth of God and the
Christian faith. This has given them a solid grounding for their lives. A
great deal of Christian literature has been given to people in our
community, and many have had the opportunity of hearing more of the
truth of the Bible. Through our website people across the world have had
access to sermons. written articles, and videos. All this has been used to
advance the Christian faith in our community and through the world.

Section E
Financial review

Ordinarily the church will not hold excessive reserves, as we believe that
the monies need to be used constantly for the achieving of our
objectives. We will seek to maintain a reserve level of £20,000 in order to
provide cover for the wages of the 3 full-time employees.
