**Objects:** “THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PRESERVE THE HONEYBEE BY PROMOTING THE CRAFT OF BEEKEEPING AND EDUCATING THE PUBLIC OF THE BENEFIT OF BEES IN THE ENVIRONMENT.”

**Activities:** The education of the general public about the value of bees to the environment and the ways in which they can help to reduce their decline. Services include an educational outreach programme to schools and community groups, training for  prospective, beginner and experienced beekeepers and a swarm collection service.
