Report of the trustees for the year ending 30 November 2019

The Trustees of Prince of Peace Ministry present their annual report and accounts for the year ended 28 November 2017 which are also prepared to meet the requirements of the Charity Commission for registered Charity Incorporated Organisations (CIO).

To raise a generation of people who will know their God through Jesus Christ and follow Him.

OUR PURPOSE

To bring the people to a relationship with Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy spirit

OUR OBJECTIVES

The objects of the Church are:

  1. Benefit to the public – The Church is for the benefit of the London public and the surrounding areas.

  2. To advance the Christian faith – Through having a place of worship and gathering for worship and the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, evangelism, public celebrations of Christian festivals, producing and or distributing literature to enlighten others about God and the Church or Jesus Christ.

Activities and Events

1. Regular Church Programmes on Sunday

Our regular Sunday worship have continued to grow. We now have

nearly two hundred people attending Sunday worships. The purpose of our regular Sunday worship service is to create an

2. Mothers’ Day

Our Mother’s Day event on 11 March 2018 attracted a lot of women to the event. They were grateful to God for the event.

3. Children Thanksgiving

This event which was held on the 29 April 2018. It was a special service to say thanks to God for the children who are the future of the Church. The purpose of the having a Children’s Thanksgiving is to show gratitude to Our Saviour and Lord in the form of praise and worship. Secondly to give assurance to our children and parents within our communities that children have a place of belonging where the matter, accepted, looked after and with opportunity to demonstrate their godly potentials.

A Bible contest competition was held after the service.

4. Women’s Thanksgiving

This was held on Sunday Maty 14[th] by the women to show gratitude for the life transforming power of God in their lives .

5. Family Day held on 14 July 2018,

This event brings together the families in the Church together for a wonderful shared experience. It is intended to provide an opportunity for families to reflect on the values of a family and the home that are important to a Christian family.
