**Objects:** THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("OBJECTS") ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING:(1) THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT FOR PEOPLE ORIGINATING FROM THE INDIAN STATE OF UTTARAKHAND AND THEIR DEPENDENTS, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THOSE THAT HAVE RECENTLY ARRIVED IN THE UK WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC POSITION, IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING: (A) ASSISTANCE INTERPRETING THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND ACTING AS AN INTERMEDIARY AND SIGNPOSTING TO THIRD PARTY AGENCIES; (B) SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND EVENTS INVOLVING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY(2)  TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) UTTARAKHAND CULTURE, TRADITION AND HISTORY BY SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES DEEM FIT.(3) THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL NEED AND SUFFERING AMONG VICTIMS OF NATURAL OR OTHER KINDS OF DISASTER IN UTTARAKHAND IN THE FORM OF MONEY (OR OTHER MEANS DEEMED SUITABLE) FOR PERSONS, BODIES, ORGANISATIONS INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF MEDICAL AID.(4)  THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF HEALTH AMONG PEOPLE RESIDING PERMANENTLY OR TEMPORARILY IN REMOTE AREAS OF UTTARAKHAND.

**Activities:** The Association's principal activities continued to be the promotion of social inclusion for the public benefit for people origiating from the Indian state of uttarakhand and their dependents. During the year, we continued to organise community interaction daysby celebrating the Diwali, Holi and summer mela, this brings the community to come together and share traditional values.
