HISTORY
New Buddha Way was founded in 2(L12 in Guildford as a voluntary associatlon by Prof. Geoff Hunt.
Buddhist Chaplaln at Surrey University. Since then the group has grown steadily to become the
srnall community that meets todav.

REVIEW OF THE YEAR
From March 2021 New Buddha Way had tofind a ne4¥ way to allow participints to meditate
together. We did this by U￿Th8 Zoom.
We have met every Sunday Sin￿ as an online group and have up to fifty people each week with
participants old and new able to loln us from various locations throughout the globe.. USA, UK,
Canada. Australla, Indla, Malaysla and Gemiany.
The weekly dharma talk has been recorded and offered free on YouTube.
These sessions as everything we offer at NBW are free.
We have offered an Introdurtory Sesslon every six week5 to anyone who would Ilke to know more
about N8W and follow on wlth our Sunday Communlty Sessions. At present these are also
conducted onllne vla Zoom.
Our Retreat5 and Festlval day5 had to be Can￿lled due to the Covld restrlttlons. However, we are
hoplng to reSntroduce these again soon.
We also had to Cancel our Buddhlst Global Relief sponsored walk top raise money for the hungry in
countrles throughout the poorest parts of the world.
DespSte lockdown restrlctlons we ratsed funds through participant donations and were able to send
a contrlbutlon to Wokln8 Food Bank and Buddhlst Global Rellef and the AnLtkampa Prolett.
