**Objects:** THE AIM OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE THE BUDDHIST RELIGION (ALSO KNOWN AS THE BUDDHA DHARMA) FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SPIRITUAL, RELIGIOUS AND ETHICAL FRAMEWORK OF THE FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS AND THE NOBLE EIGHTFOLD PATH, WITH THEIR PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON WISDOM, NON-HARM, COMPASSION AND PEACE. TO DO THIS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY MEANS OF:Ò TEACHING, INFORMING, PUBLICISING AND DISTRIBUTING THE BUDDHIST TEACHINGS AND WAY OF LIFE IN LECTURES AND CLASSES, AND PAPER AND DIGITAL MEDIA; AND THESE ARE DELIVERED IN RECOGNITION THAT THE PREFERRED BUDDHIST MEANS IS BY ÆMAKING AVAILABLEÆ RATHER THAN PROSELYTISING. Ò MANIFESTING PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE AND COMMUNITY, THROUGH THE HOLDING OF MAINLY FREE ACTIVITIES THAT ARE OPEN AND AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC (AS WELL AS ADHERENTS) INCLUDING:(A) COMMUNITY MEDITATION AND CONTEMPLATION SESSIONS, (B) INTERFAITH DIALOGUE, (C) MEDITATION RETREATS, (D) THE PUBLIC CELEBRATION OF BUDDHIST FESTIVALS, (E) TEACHING ABOUT BUDDHISM WITHIN THE SCHOOLSÆ CURRICULUM ON REQUEST, (F) THE SUPPORT OF BUDDHIST CHAPLAINCY IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR (HOSPITALS, UNIVERSITIES, ETC.)(G) OCCASIONAL PASTORAL CARE.

**Activities:** The aim of New Buddha Way is to advance the Buddhist religion (also known as &#x27;the Buddha Dharma&#x27;) for the benefit of the public in accordance with the spiritual, religious and ethical framework of &#x27;The Four Noble Truths&#x27; and &#x27;The Noble Eightfold Path&#x27;, with their particular emphasis on wisdom, non-harm, compassion and peace.
