## TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 JULY 2023 

The Trustees present their report and accounts for the year ended 31 July 2023 and confirm that they comply with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011, the Constitution and the Charities SORP (FRS 102). 

The Charity acts as an umbrella organisation for Homeshare projects throughout the world. 

## Review of activities and Achievements 

The Charity does not operate any Homeshare projects but seeks to disseminate information to organisations who operate, or wish to, schemes of their own. It provides this information through its own website www.homeshare.org The Charity also operates a Network for organisations, for a subscription, which provides help for those joining the organisation. The Charity also provides regular on line events which have proved to be very popular and these attract members throughout the world. 

During the year, a part time administrator was appointed. This has proved to be a success and this has greatly assisted the Trustees in running the Charity. 

Board meetings:are held regularly throughout the year using ZOOM. These are well attended by the Trustees. 

## Future Plans 

The Charity has in the past organised International Conferences hosted by member organisations around the world. Due to COVID this has been curtailed and in 2024 its is planned to hold an event in Italy. 

Plans are in place to seek additional funding. 

## Financial Review 

Income for the year was £2,005 and expenditure £3,411 resulting in a deficit of £1,426. Total reserves were £9,132 which the Board believes is reasonable. 

## Structure, Governance and Management 

The Charity operates under a Constitution for a Charitable Incorporated Organisation dated 23 November 2016, which sets out how Trustees are elected. 

The Charity’s principal address is 11, Divinity Road, Oxford, OX4 1LH.
