## **TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 JULY 2021**
The trustees present their report and accounts for the year ended 31 July 2021 and confirm that they comply with requirements of the Charities Act 2011, the Constitution and the Charities SORP (FRS 102)
The Charity acts as an umbrella organisation for Homeshare projects throughout the world.
## **Review of Activities and Achievements**
The Charity does not operate any Homeshare projects but seeks to disseminate information to organisations who operate, or wish to, schemes of their own. It provides this information through its own website www.homeshare.org The charity also operates a Network for organisations for a modest subscription which provides help for those joining the organisation.
During the year, a Memorandum of Understanding was entered into with Shared Lives Plus, a registered charity. This was terminated in early 2021 and the administration reverted to the charity
Board meetings are held using Zoom calls and four such calls were held during the year. In addition the Management Team, a subcommittee of the Board, meet more frequently.
The Covid pandemic has meant that plans for the 2021 International Conference have been postponed until 2023.
## **Future Plans**
The pandemic has affected Homeshare organisation throughout the world and the Board and it will review activities during the next year
## **Financial Review**
Income for the year was £236 and expenditure was £562 a deficit of £326
Total reserves at 31 July 2020 were £5,357. The Board believe this is reasonable.
## **Structure, Governance and Management**
The charity operates under a Constitution for a Charitable Incorporated Organisation dated 23 November 2016, which sets out how trustees are elected.
