## FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2025 

Responsibilities of the Executives: 

The Constitution requires the executives to prepare financial statements for each financial year that give an accurate and fair view of the association's state of affairs at the end of the year (31/03/2025) and of the surplus or deficit for the year ended. 

The committee members must also prepare the financial statements on a ‘going concern basis’ unless it is inappropriate to presume that the association will continue in business. 

The executives are responsible for maintaining proper accounting records that, at any time and with reasonable accuracy, disclose the association's financial position and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Companies Act 1985. The executives are also responsible for safeguarding the association's assets, taking reasonable steps to prevent and detect fraud or other irregularities. 

## GOVERNING DOCUMENT: 

The association is a charity organisation. It is operated in accordance with its memorandum and articles of association. 

It has no share capital, and the liability of each member, whether while he/she remains a member or within twelve months after ceasing to be one, is to contribute a sum not exceeding ten pounds (£10) towards the debts and liabilities of the Association incurred before ceasing membership, as well as the costs, charges, and expenses of winding up, and the adjustment of the rights of the contributors among themselves.
