“We have carried out all the usual jobs needed on a nature reserve. The paths have been mown by Roger and Craig, trimming back of overgrown vegetation by various members, some coppicing was carried out during the winter months. The notice boards were cleaned and brambles cut back along the entrance road. We also hel a wild flower indentification day which went well, as did the bird identification walk. We held our usual Plants and Crafts Fair at Wyken Hall which was a huge success despite the awful weather. On 14 August 2024 we will be having a Bug Hunt which should be fun.”
