Section D Achievements and performance
## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**
We held our annual fund raising event in April 2021. This was a ‘Plants & Crafts Fair’ held at Wyken Hall with the kind permission of Sir Kenneth and Carla Carlisle.
We held numerous work parties at Sid’s Piece during the autumn to spring period, maintaining the area for conservation purposes, and arranged for a professional conservationist to coppice another area of Willow which is threatening to dominate over other valuable species of woody plant.
We continued low-level maintaining and monitoring of a small area on The Chase in Stanton, including a herb border.
We continued to publicise our objectives and activities to the local community, thus increasing awareness of local wildlife and conservation issues.

The main fund-raising activity is an annual ‘plants and crafts fair’. Donations are occasionally received. Spending has been mainly for open space maintenance and to support the annual fund-raising event. The charity has no investments.
