## **ASKHAM and DISTRICT COMMUNITY CENTRE CHAIRMAN’s ANNUAL REPORT 2020** 

The year started with our regular hirers using the Centre, especially the recently refurbished small hall. In addition, we were able to hire our facilities to users new to Askham. The Centre closed on Tuesday, 17[th] March and the following week a National lockdown was announced owing to the pandemic of Covid 19. In the following months, subject to guidance and restrictions, some very limited use of the Centre took place. All the major events were cancelled although the annual Askham Show was held outdoors in September. Some minor maintenance was carried out during the lockdown period.
