Sustrust, originally named The Sustainable Trust, was granted charitable status in spring 2002. Based on the Old Clowance Estate at Praze-an-Beeble, we manage 75 acres of historic estate woodland, dedicated to outdoor education, conservation, and heritage work.
Our Major Projects
We focus on two key areas:

Crenver Grove, a publicly accessible woodland used for outdoor education, school groups, and community engagement. Since COVID-19, increased footfall has worn down the forest floor and pathways. Thanks to new funding, we are restoring the area through replanting and improved pathway management—but we rely on visitor donations to keep the woods open and maintained for everyone.

Carwynnen Quoit, a separate heritage restoration project dedicated to preserving this collapsed neolithic monument. More details can be found at our website called Giant’s Quoit.
