| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | Sustrust continued to manage Crenver and Fox Groves for conservation purposes. Due to the Covid situation no volunteer conservation days were undertaken. We facilitated the use of Crenver Grove and Pip’s Field for regular use throughout the year by community groups, including the local schools for outdoor events and educational purposes. Children from four local schools have learnt about the archaeology of Cornwall, the natural world and the value of woodlands in sessions meeting the educational curriculum. Volunteer groups working to help those with mental health or other difficulties have also used the woods for confidence and team building exercises. |

Para 1.47 | Sustrust continued to manage Crenver and Fox Groves for conservation purposes. We facilitated the use of Crenver Grove and Pip’s Field for regular use throughout the year by community groups, and schools for outdoor events and educational purposes. Children from four local schools have learnt about the archaeology of Cornwall, the natural world and the value of woodlands in sessions meeting the educational curriculum. |---|---|---|
| Investment policy and objectives including any social investment policy adopted |
Para 1.46 | We are too small a charity to make investments |
| A description of the principal risks facing the charity |
Para 1.46 | We do not own the woods we manage and have appropriate public liability insurance, but a significant accident could affect our public reputation. We do insist on risk assessments from all groups or businesses using the woods for events and have warnings at the site entrances about safety of visitors. We also look after a re-erected Neolithic cromlech and similar considerations apply. Because we have not carried out any large projects financial risks have been very small during this reporting period. We will be working on a larger project for the future and will review the risks accordingly |
