Para 1.20 Sustrust continued to manage Crenver and Fox
Groves for conservation purposes. Due to the
Covid situation no volunteer conservation days
were undertaken. We facilitated the use of
Crenver Grove and Pip’s Field for regular use
throughout the year by community groups,
including the local schools for outdoor events
and educational purposes. Children from four
local schools have learnt about the archaeology
of Cornwall, the natural world and the value of
woodlands in sessions meeting the educational
curriculum. Volunteer groups working to help
those with mental health or other difficulties
have also used the woods for confidence and
team building exercises.
