The principal address of Sandwell and birmingham kurdish community is 298 Dudley road , birmingham , west midlands B18 4HL. ## **The Objectives of Muslim Care** The objects of Sandwell and birmingham kurdish community are to promote islam religion in sandwell and birmingham for the benefit of general public in particular . ## **Trustees** The Trustees at the end of the year were :- Mr Marwan Ahmad Mr Farzad Moradi Mr Sabur Mohammed Abdul-Aziz ## **Recruitment and Appointment of Trustees** The charity is governed by a board of trustees drawn from the local community. This is to ensure that the board has the skills and experience required to oversee the management of the charity and its operations. The charity trustees are responsible for the general control and management of the charity. The trustees give their time freely and receive no remuneration or other financial benefits. ## **Trustee Induction and Training** All new trustees receive a planned induction programme before taking up their place on the board. This includes an explanation of their roles and responsibilities, an introduction to other trustees, an overview of recent activities and an explanation of board format and process. ## **Risk management** The trustees have a risk management strategy which includes an annual review of the risks the charity faces and the establishment of systems and procedures to mitigate those risks and implementation of procedures designed to minimise any potential impact on charity should those risks materialise. ## **Reserves Policy** The trustees aim to ensure that sufficient funds are maintained to enable the charity to carry out its activities. ## **Review of activities for the year** Sandwell and birmingham kurdish community achieved a loss of £41,426- for the period ended 01.08.2023 . The detailed results are set out on pages 3 to 6. By order of the T rustees Mr Marwan Ahmad Chairman 06-Feb-25 1 ## **Sandwell and birmingham kurdish community Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of Muslim Care** I report on the accounts of Sandwell and birmingham kurdish community for the period ended 01 Aug 2023, which are set out on pages 3 to 6. ## **Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner** The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts.The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to : examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act; to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act; and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. ## **Independent examiner's statement** In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention: i) which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements : to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the 2011 Act; and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the 2011 Act, have not been met; or ii) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
