TRUSTEES' REPORT
The Trustees have pleasure in presenting the annual report and accounts for the charity for the year to 31 December 2023.
1 Objectives and activities
The objects of the charity are to advance the Christian religion, to advance education in particular, but not exclusively, in relation to the doctrines of the Christian religion, and to relieve poverty and hardship.
2 Structure, governance and management
The charity is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, charity number 1170204, and was registered with the Charity Commission on 16 November 2016.
The charity is governed by the trustees, and the trustees have ultimate oversight. New trustees are appointed by a majority of the existing trustees. The trustees who acted during the period were:

3 Activities and financial review
During the year the Trust received grants of £13,200 (2022: £13,200) which enabled the charity to disburse gifts to local charities as well as other charities in other parts of the UK. The Trust supports charities which seek to advance the Christian Faith.
There were funds in hand at the end of the year of £10,354 (2022: £2,858).
4 Public benefit
The Trustees consider that the activities as described above fulfil the requirements of the Charity Commission's public benefit disclosure.
5 Reserves policy
The charity seeks to retain sufficient reserves for the ongoing work of the charity.
6 Risk management
The Trustees regularly consider the risks to which the charity may be exposed, and are satisfied that systems are in place to mitigate exposure to the major risks.

ACCOUNTANTS' REPORT
In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Charities Act 2011, we have prepared for your approval the receipts and payments accounts of The Joshua Jericho Trust for the year ended 31 December 2023, which comprise the receipts and payments account and related notes from the charity's accounting records and from information and explanations you have given to us.
As a practising member firm of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, we are subject to its ethical and other professional requirements which are detailed at http://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/ member/standards/rules-and-standards/rulebook.html.
This report is made to the charity's trustees, as a body, in accordance with the terms of our engagement letter dated 1 July 2019. Our work has been undertaken solely to prepare for your approval the financial statements of The Joshua Jericho Trust and state those matters that we have agreed to state to the charity's trustees, as a body, in this report. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than The Joshua Jericho Trust and the charity's trustees as a body, for our work or for this report.
It is your duty to ensure that The Joshua Jericho Trust has kept adequate accounting records and to prepare statutory financial statements that give a true and fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position and deficit of The Joshua Jericho Trust. You consider that The Joshua Jericho Trust is exempt from the statutory audit requirement for the year, and is not required to obtain an independent examiner's report.
We have not been instructed to carry out an audit or a review of the financial statements of The Joshua Jericho Trust. For this reason, we have not verified the accuracy or completeness of the accounting records or information and explanations you have given to us and we do not, therefore, express any opinion on the statutory financial statements.

NOTES TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
1. Accounting Policies
The financial statements have been prepared as a Receipts and Payments account in accordance with section 133 of the Charities Act 2011.
Donations
Donations are recognised when received by or on behalf of the charity.
Expenses
Expenses are recognised in the period in which it is incurred and allocated to the appropriate category.
2. Trustee remuneration and expenses
No trustees received renumeration or were reimbursed for expenses incurred in fulfilling their duties during the year.
3. Related party transactions
Truebyte Ltd, of which Mr Matt Heath and Mrs Faith Heath are directors, gifted the charity £13,200 (2022: £13,200) during the year.
