Independent Examinerfs Report to the Trustees of The Rotary Club of Gloucester Quays
I report to the trustees on my examination of the financial statements of The Rotary Club of Gloucester Quays for the year ended 30 June 2025.
Responsibilities and basis of report
The charitys trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charitys trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year
(under Section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act)) and that independent examination is required and requested by the trustees. The
charitys gross income exceeded £25,000.
Having satisfied myself that the charity is not subject to audit under company law and is eligible for
examine the accounts under Section 145 of the 2011 Act
to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of the independent examinerfs report
My examination was carried out in accordan￿ with the General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination indudes a review of
the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any
unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures
undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts
present a 'true and fair view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statements below.
Independent examinerfs statement
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:
I have completed my examination. I confimi that no matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination, giving me cause to
believe that in any material respect:
1) accounting records were not kept in respect of the trust as required by section 130 of the 2011 Act; or
2) the financial statements do not accord with those records: or
3) the financial statements do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a true and fair view, which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no cOn￿mS and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in the report,
in order to enable a proper understanding of the financial statements to be reached.

Financial Review
The charity considers that it should maintain a minimum of £5,000 in cash reserves at any point in time.
This enables the Club to finance events being organised forfuture dates as well as having sufficient to
respond to a particular disaster appeal. The Club has maintained this level of reserves throughout its
operations in the year.
Fund raising and other activities have significantly improved on earlier years with a very active and growing
membership within the Club.
The Club is justifiably proud of the level of donations it has been able to make to worthwhile causes
which highlights the benefits of indviduals working togethertowards common cause.
