Scrutiny of Accounts: 1 August 2024 – 31 July 2025

___________

I have closely scrutinised the Accounts for Southgate Opera for the above period. I am now happy to sign off these accounts as being an accurate record. I make the following comments:

There were a small number of misallocations of amounts to the wrong head. These have all been corrected

For the first time, Theatre Tax Relief (TTR) has been applied for. I find the transactions in relation to this new venture to be accurate. I note that they have been overseen and approved by the Making Music organisation.
