## **Aims** 

To work in poverty alleviation and furthering education in South America and where agreed ad hoc projects around the world. This year the Rosa Foundation has focussed on working in the UK. Where one specific requests was made to give an overseas donation this was donated to another UK based charity. 

## **Objectives** 

The objectives of Rosa Foundation are to continue distributing welfare in the form of cash payments. 

## **Achievements** 

- Funds were used for zakat purposes in the UK 

- Some funds were made to Revive charity at the request of the donors. 

- No extension of loans for supporting translations from Arabic into Brazilian Portuguese has been made as the finances of the charity have been inadequate to extend this service. 



## **Explanatory notes** 

A previous loan of £4000 remains outstanding. The beneficiary of the loan has pledged to donate £6000 in exchange for this support which was provided to him. 

## **Targets for next accounting period** 

The Rosa Foundation’s funding will continue to be provided for local zakat and sadaqa beneficiaries where deemed eligible and not able to access conventional channels of support. Efforts will be made to acquire the remaining loan due of £3000, as well as to obtain the pledged amount of £6000. 



## **Trustees’ Annual Report 01/05/24 – 30/4/25** 

The trustees of Rosa Foundation confirm that the activities of the charity comply with the Charities Act 2011. 

As it stands, small charitable donations were made to several beneficiaries directly and via another charity. This was all conducted within the UK.
