The charitable objectives of the charity are at the heart of all decision making that the Trustees undertake to ensure there is public benefit. 

The Trustees have regard to the Charity Commission public benefit requirements and consider that the charities objectives meet these requirements.

Section D                      Achievements and performance 

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

The charity has held a small number of events and a popular charity buffet evening to raise funds for the charity.  These events also was an opportunity to improve the exposure of the charity and its objectives. During the period the charity also received specific donations for a number of projects including continued support of student’s education, health promotion and towards the building of a church.  Funds for these specific objectives have been used as the requirement arises to support individuals in Tanzania. 

At the year end restricted funds for specific projects amounted to £5,785 and will continue to be used for the designated purposes after the year end.

We aim to maintain a small reserve to cover on going costs and to allow **Brief statement of the** the initial funding of charitable events and for larger projects which at **charity’s policy on reserves** present includes the cost of shipping school equipment to Tanzania for use in the village school, ongoing maintenance of the village school and further water projects.
