Achievements and performance

Summary of the main ' Fundraising activities during the year were restricted due to the global achievements of the charity . ‘ , . : during the year Covid 19 pandemic which meant it was only possible to hold virtual events for the majority of the year. A number of presentations have been made at local community groups in order to improve the exposure of the charity and its objectives. During the period the charity has received specific donations for a number of projects including continued support of student’s education, installation of toilets at a village school and further work on water supplies within the region by funding the building of a substantial water storage tank.

At the year end restricted funds for specific projects amounted to £1,880 and with some of these funds being used for these purposes after the year end and for future work once additional funds have been raised for the projects required.

The charity has also responded to the needs of those within Tanzania in respect of the Covid 19 pandemic by sending £1,000 to provide cleaning facilities such as buckets, soap and sanitiser.
