TRUSTEES’ ANNUAL REPORT 2024_2025

Foreword

Community Support Nepal (CSN) remains committed to bringing measurable, sustainable, and meaningful improvements to the lives of children, young people, vulnerable elderly individuals, and communities in Nepal. This year, we continued to focus on supporting those most in need—hidden children and overlooked elderlies—providing them with protection, education, healthcare, legal aid, and a safe environment filled with love and care.

Rehabilitating individuals who have faced traumatic experiences is challenging, but we strive to reintegrate them into mainstream society by addressing their emotional, physical, and social needs. In this report, we outline our activities, measure our progress against clear objectives, and highlight our unwavering dedication to accountability, efficiency, and building strong relationships with beneficiaries and supporters.

Trustees’ Report

The Trustees of Community Support Nepal present their report and financial statements for the financial year ending 30 March 2025. These comply with statutory requirements, the memorandum and articles of association, and the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) for charities.

Structure, Governance, and Management:

CSN is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), registered on 8 November 2016, and governed by its articles of association. All Trustees volunteer their time without receiving any benefits. They regularly review the charity’s aims, objectives, and activities to ensure alignment with its purpose.

Governing Document:

CSN operates under a constitution, working in partnership with local governments and the Child Rights Protection Centre Nepal (CRPC). These collaborations aim to provide better futures for victims of natural disasters and homeless or exploited children. Trustees also identify and mitigate risks while developing organisational policies to guide best practices for trustees, volunteers, and partner organisations.

Objectives and Activities

Our mission focuses on rebuilding homes for earthquake victims and protecting the rights of homeless and vulnerable children. In partnership with local organisations, we promote education, employment, and community inclusion for disadvantaged groups.
