We held this during the sthool holidays and learnin8 from the low attendance at this disco we wlll be
rethinking summer discos for 2023.
In October we held our Halloween themed disco which was a hu8e success completely sold out wlth

Flnally, we ended the year with our Christma5 themed disco with 117 in attendance where a8aln

Brou
ton In Bloom:
This year with funding from North Llncolnshire Council and Broughton Town Council we planted all
ralsed beds around the town with Jubilee themed colours. A new addition w05 the planting of a
dlsused phone box on Brlgg Road. The local town council wlth the group involvement located hanging
baskets outside buslnesses on the hi8h street. As a result of these and other activities the town
recelved Its thlrd consecutive year of winning best kept small town in North Lincolnshire. All the done
by volunteer residents.
Runnln
Grou
The communlty runnln8 8roup Is wSndlng down a Ilttle bit since the introdurtion of TeamBR whl¢h has
now become its own entity. However, there are still a few meetsthat happen but there is nothing
happenin8 in terms of consistent run time5.
However, the events side of things is still very much alive and kickin& We had our first Colour Run
J6
(19 June) this year which has been postponed for the last 2 years. The event went really well with Y )'
volunteers having just as much fvn as the partlclpantsl There were 163 people that slgned up forthe
event. We have 5theduled it for this year at the same time and we're hopin8 for more this time
around.
Brou8hton Bum14th September) was down on numbers last year, we suspert this mi8ht have been a
hangover from lockdown with deferred platsd bein8 reused and other races being rescheduled.
Othenvlse, it had been a great race whlch saw over partlclpants.
Other than a sllght slump In numbers durin8 2022, the events have been great with fantastlc 5UPPOrt
from the local communlty.
