To support principally the carers and families of those with dementia in Essex and the surrounding areas by providing peer group support, social activities, and raising awareness of the issues related to dementia and those who are indirectly affected by it.

Trustees kept in mind the Charity Commissions guidance on public benefit when planning our activities for the year. As a matter of course, reference was made to our objectives to aid decision-making..The main activities of the  year undertaken for public benefit were; 

During the year 1,368 people attended events with their loved ones with dementia. In total, 114 events were held which were mostly face to face sessions.
