To support principally the carers and families of those with dementia in Essex and the surrounding areas by providing g peer group support, social activities, and raising awareness of the issues related to dementia and those who are indirectly affected by it.

Trustees kept in mind the Charity Commissions guidance on public benefit when planning our activities for the year. As a matter of course, reference was made to our objectives to aid decision-making..The main activities of the year undertaken for public benefit were;
During the year 750 people attended events with their loved ones with dementia. In total, 100 events were held which comprised face to face and zoom essions.
No charges were made for attending events this year, although Summary of the main beneficiaries contributed to the costs of materials and food and activities undertaken for the refreshments public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

The charity is entirely supported by volunteers, although a small sum was paid to provide clerical support.
