Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the activities of Sono Vivo was significant. The lockdowns and restrictions on public gatherings, particularly in indoor locations, meant that we were unable to stage music concerts during the year. The founders of Sono Vivo are professional musicians who are also cancer survivors. We support our charitable aim by staging music concerts, the proceeds of which are used to provide grants for other cancer charities. The Covid-19 restrictions on indoor gatherings, and on the performing arts in particular, meant that we were unable to stage any concerts, and therefore were unable to provide grants to other cancer charities during the year.
