Rainbow Flyers Annual Report 2019/20

This year was certainly one of two halves. From September 2019 to March 2020 our members were enjoying weekly meets at the Youth Centre. We had welcomed new members and saw the return of others to join our regulars.

We enjoyed our 4[th] Birthday party, Halloween activities, our Christmas party and Pancake Day as well as craft activities and indoor and outdoor play. Our parents were able to relax and chat over a cuppa knowing their children were occupied and safe. Our last activity was decorating cakes for Mothers’ Day.

All our planned activities; Easter egg hunt, horse riding, our annual summer trip, etc all had to be put on hold.

We also had the sad news that our founder Karen Kenward had taken the hard decision to remove herself as a Trustee.

Our only income this year was the weekly subscriptions paid by our members having not had the chance of doing any fund-raising events. We ended the year with £1238.72 1n the bank and a further £102 subs in cash which will be deposited as soon as is possible. We still have to pay for our use of the Youth Centre a total of £220 for 22 sessions @ £10 which we are unable to pay due to the banking problems we have at the moment. The Go Daddy account had been cancelled this year as our web page was deemed a non-essential.

Full details are on our Financial Report.

We were hoping to look forward to returning in September 2020 but it is not looking likely.
