## **True Jesus Church Cambridge (TJCC)**

## **Aim and purposes**

The TJCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the UKGA and UKGA assigned preachers, Preacher Steven Shek and Raymond Leacock in promoting the whole mission of the church.

## **Objectives and Activities**

The Objectives of the charity are to advance the Christian faith for the benefit of the public in accordance with the statement of faith.

When planning our activities for the year, the TJCC have considered the Commission’s guidance on public interest and, in particular, the specific guidance on charities for the advancement of religion. In particular, we try to enable ordinary people to live out their faith as part of our church community through:

- Worship and prayer; learning about the Gospel, and developing their knowledge and trust in Jesus.

- Provision of pastoral care

- Missionary and outreach work

## **Achievements and Performance**

## _Worship and Prayer_

A full-service schedule between 11:30am and 3:30pm continued from Q4 2021 to end the financial in Q3 2022. In addition to the Spring, Summer and Autumn Spiritual Convocations there were 5 pastoral visits over the year in February, March, June, September and December.

## _Pastoral Care_

Our volunteers routinely organised family visits to members that were not able to attend church service. In addition, our church organised additional visits on the Sundays when the UKGA preacher visited. We maintained regular Religious Education classes on Saturdays and online on Sunday. We held weekly Friday evening fellowship.

## _Mission and Evangelism_

Evangelical events were held in April, July and October 2022.

## **Financial Review**

Total receipts on unrestricted fund were £1770. Restricted donations received were £38384 and are detailed in the Financial Statements. Income from Gift Aid was £6517. £14561 was spent in the financial year.

The net result of the year was a surplus of receipts over payments of £26068. Adding bank and deposit balances brought forward at the beginning of the year, the balance carried forward at 1[st] October 2022 on unrestricted funds and restricted funds totalled £170455.

We thank the church volunteers to provide their homes for our routine and ad hoc services. We are grateful for the generosity of individual members and UK churches for their offerings and loans. In

additions weekly food and drink and transport costs were met by volunteers to such an extent the expenditure of the church was kept to a minimal.
