Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
The objects of the organisation are to provide support to persons and families - to those either settled or recently displaced - through educational, moral, and material support - and through any other support as may be deemed appropriate. In addition, to provide a welcoming space in which to share languages, cultures and ideas, to the benefit of all in the Oxford area and beyond.

The 2022-23 year saw a pause to some core activities due to the Covid19 pandemic. Community events and meetings had to be cancelled, and the charity focussed on individual case support. Notwithstanding reduced capacity in the charity, it organised a community celebration for the Kurdish New Year in March 2023.
