The objects of the organisation are to provide support to persons and families - to those either settled or recently displaced - through educational, moral, and material support - and through any other support as may be deemed appropriate. In addition, to provide a welcoming space in which to share languages, cultures and ideas, to the benefit of all in the Oxford area and beyond.

The 2021-2022 year saw a pause to some core activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Community events and meetings had to be cancelled, and the charity focussed on individual case support.
