1. To promote social mobility and access to better life opportunities for students of African and Caribbean descent. 2. Although our services are primarily for the students of Black African and Caribbean descent, where there is spare capacity, **Summary of the objects** we will not exclude students from other minority ethnic groups **of the charity set out in** who are facing barriers to progression post-university. **its governing document** 3. The target group are students in higher education who feel that they are not given suitable opportunities to achieve their full potential. The hope is that as a result of our support these individuals will realise their true potential and become leaders within their chosen field We engaged and supported 96 people in learning and digital support. 

50 people have successfully completed level 2 Functional Skills in English and Mathematics whilst 15 successfully completed level 3 diploma in health and social care and progressed to higher education. We provided digital support for 31 successful applications for EU Settlement Scheme.

## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

We have successfully engaged 96 people in learning and digital support towards EU Settlement. 

We have provided blended learning opportunities for 65 people. 50 people have successfully completed level 2 Functional Skills whilst 15 have successfully completed level 3 health and social care and 31 successful applications for EU Settlement Scheme.

Connect Talent currently has no reserves. There are few fixed costs and particularly none associated with staff or premises. As the organisation develops it is our policy to hold three months reserves to provide some measure of security for the charity.
